01 Information we collect
We collect the details people choose to submit through accounts, profiles, family requests, contact forms, dashboards, and admin workflows.
- Account and contact details, such as name, email, phone, city, state, login status, and support messages.
- Au pair profile details, such as childcare experience, timing, languages, driving comfort, photos, availability, and family-fit notes.
- Host family request details, such as family display name, children ages, schedule, room setup, driving needs, interview timing, and preferred fit.
- Operational records, such as review statuses, admin notes, introduction workflow notes, audit events, and basic technical request data.
02 How we use information
Submitted information is used to run the platform and make reviewed introductions more useful for both sides.
- Create accounts, manage dashboards, and respond to profile or support questions.
- Review au pair profiles and host family briefs before public visibility or introductions.
- Prepare private matching context around timing, location, routine, childcare needs, and interview readiness.
- Protect platform quality, investigate misuse, maintain records, and improve site operations.
03 Profile, family, and media visibility
AuPair Advisers is built around limited public previews and reviewed private context. Sensitive matching details should not be treated like random browsing content.
- Public previews are intended to stay limited and may show only selected name, location, photo, and high-level fit signals.
- Deeper profile, family, schedule, children, reference, room, media, and matching notes are handled through reviewed account and admin workflows.
- Photos and uploaded media may be used for profile review, family gallery review, dashboard display, and matching presentation.
- Users should avoid submitting unnecessary sensitive details, especially about children, health, legal matters, or family circumstances.
04 When information may be shared
We share information only as needed to operate the service, support reviewed introductions, or respond to safety, legal, abuse, or platform integrity needs.
- With au pairs, host families, admins, or support team members when a reviewed workflow requires it.
- With service providers that support hosting, database, file storage, security, email, form handling, or site operations.
- When needed to respond to legal requests, fraud, abuse, safety concerns, or disputes.
- AuPair Advisers is not operated as an advertising data marketplace or data broker.
05 Cookies, sessions, and technical data
The site may use cookies, sessions, and standard hosting records to keep accounts working and protect form and dashboard access.
- Cookies or similar storage may keep users signed in, protect forms, remember account state, and support dashboard workflows.
- Hosting and security systems may receive standard technical data such as IP address, device, browser, pages requested, timestamps, and error logs.
- Users can control browser cookies, but blocking required cookies may prevent login or dashboard features from working correctly.
06 Retention, updates, and deletion requests
Records are kept while accounts, applications, matching workflows, support needs, or operational requirements make them useful.
- You can update profile or account details through dashboard areas where available.
- Correction, visibility, deletion, or privacy questions can be sent to hello@aupairadvisers.com.
- Some admin, audit, safety, fraud, or operational records may remain where needed for platform integrity or legal reasons.
- Deleting or limiting information may affect active profile review, family requests, introductions, or account access.
